How To Extend The Life of Your Veneers

Dental veneers are a thin layer of ceramic that is placed on your teeth to improve your smile. So, how durable are dental veneers?

Main points:

  • Dental veneers are made of light and thin porcelain ceramic and can resist wear and tear like the enamel.
  • With proper care, dental veneers can last a decade or more.
  • Extend the life of your veneers through proper oral hygiene and seeing the dentist regularly for checkups.

Teeth grinding or bruxism can ruin dental veneers. Therefore, talk to your dentist about wearing a mouthguard during sleep.
